The aesthetics vocational training program aims to train aestheticians.
As part of their tasks, aestheticians administer aesthetic care to different clients, with the help of techniques that use specialized products and equipment, with the goal of improving and maintaining a person's appearance, and this, also producing physical and psychological well being.
Before starting treatment, the aesthetician gathers information from the client. The skin, nails and body hair are examined as needed.
The aesthetician performs basic or specific aesthetic care for the face, neck, chest, back, hands and feet. An aesthetician can apply makeup for an occasion, and can remove hair from different parts of the body using specialized products.
Furthermore, an aesthetician offers consultation services, sells care packages, cosmetic products and personalized services. They plan and organize their work, perform receptionist duties, ensure client follow up, perform administrative tasks and take care of the work place and materials. Aestheticians also make sure to stay up to date in their training.

This program enables the students to perform preventive and corrective mechanic work; inspect vehicles with the goal of identifying, finding the cause and the source of operating problems; perform repairs, replace parts and make adjustments on different vehicle systems; operate tests; learn procedures for installing accessories and optional equipment; adhere to health, safety and environmental laws and regulations.

Develop knowledge, skills and the attitudes required to use hygiene, health and safety rules and measures linked to the use of caustic and corrosive products, analyse the scalp and the hair, counsel the customer a style that goes well with their personality, to know techniques involved in hair coloration and to be able to accomplish tasks such as cutting, setting and styling hair, to accomplish complimentary tasks such as trimming and shaving of beards, sideburns and moustaches, to accomplish reception and sales tasks.

The Hair Removal program prepares the candidate for a career in electrolysis or as a laser hair removal technician. This profession is practiced in hair removal clinics and beauty salons. The candidate can also work independantly.
As part of their practice, hair removal specialists inform their clients on different hair removal procedures and remove hair from the face, neck or body. Their job consists of improving someone's physical appearance, treating a problem of excess hair sometimes due to hereditary causes or endocrine problem, and to reassure a person who has physical discomfort, and this, all the while, promoting a sense of physical and psychological well-being.
The hair removal specialist evaluates if the client is suitable for a hair removal treatment, informs them on the frequency necessary, the duration, expected results and offers advice. They also play the role of receptionist, sell products and services and perform daily management tasks as well as maintain their area and materials.

The program prepares for the practice of the profession of electric vehicle mechanics.
Motor vehicle mechanics, when called upon to work on electrically powered or hybrid powered vehicles, have the main job of seeing to the maintenance and repair of their electrical and electromechanical systems.
Acquire the skills to perform various tasks related to general and special services in hairdressing with a mainly male clientele. Their main function is to perform the maintenance of hair and facial hair as well as offer aesthetic care adapted to the needs of the target clientele.
The recognition of acquired competencies (RAC) is a process that allows an individual with skills gained through life or work experience to obtain official recognition of their competencies in relation to a program of study.
When an adult student reaches 18 years of age (on June 30th), and does not meet the requirements for admission to a vocational program, passing the GDT is one of the functional pre-requisites that is required to be eligible to certain vocational education programs.
This test offers you the opportunity to achieve a Secondary School Equivalency Certificate. This will allow you to demonstrate the skills, knowledge, competencies and abilities you have acquired.
Another way to get your high school equivalency is by registering to take General Educational Development (GED) tests. GED tests cover five different subject areas. A person must pass all five tests to get their GED certification (certified Canadian high school equivalency).
