Sinclair Laird Elementary School in Park Extension received a surprise visit from Dr. Thomas Cauchi, a veterinarian and former EMSB student, who stopped in during a Thanksgiving trip home from his clinic in France to give the school’s beagle mascot, Penny, her annual checkup.

Liberal MP for Papineau and Federal Minister of Health Marjorie Michel visited the four EMSB schools in her constituency: Sinclair Laird and St. Raphael in Park Extension and  John F. Kennedy High School and Adult Education Centre in St. Michel. She toured the facilities and spoke to staff.
