Penny's Checkup

Sinclair Laird Elementary School in Park Extension received a surprise visit from Dr. Thomas Cauchi, a veterinarian and former EMSB student, who stopped in during a Thanksgiving trip home from his clinic in France to give the school’s beagle mascot, Penny, her annual checkup. Dr Tom also gave a short talk on canine health and general physiology to attentive students while Penny -always the star -  dogged it up for Kindergarten and the camera! Dr. Cauchi is the son of Principal Derrek Cauchi.
